A downloadable TTRPG

FableDoom is a rules-light TTRPG designed to free you from constraints and let your story shine. It allows for limitless character customization, has no level-cap, and is Genre-Agnostic to fit any setting you can imagine.

The rules and terms are designed to be easy for anyone—novice or veteran—to pick up and understand. Like many TTRPGs, FableDoom works with polyhedral dice and modifiers to express the skills you want your characters to have, but it is designed to limit the hassle of excessive math and complex rules which can slow down the party and stifle creativity.

More than anything, I hope FableDoom lets you feel freed, whether you’re a player or a GM. Treat your skills as intersectional, and try to accomplish your most fantastical plans in the boldest fashion possible! Just know that, should you fail, the repercussions will be equally spectacular…

The FableDoom Quick Start Guide is designed for people who are already familiar with TTRPGs who want to jump straight into playing this genre-agnostic, rules-light game.

It includes the relevant terms, how they work, basic instructions for play, and a blank character sheet (with both white and transparent backgrounds).

For more clarification and instruction, on how to play or GM for this game, the Core Rulebook is recommended. The Core is currently scheduled for release in March 2023.

Awesome game!  Loved the leveling system actually requiring use of the skill and how the dice level up, and I had a lot of fun playing with my kid and writing a review; check it out here for more details of our gameplay!
